Thanks Caroline! Its nice to hear from someone who is in the same situation. I think I ruled out Minnesota also. (No 20 below zero winters for me).
Shcwing as for your question, I am 22 LSAT 162, GPA 3.67 from Franklin & marshall. I was told that my GPA held more weight at some of the schools that knew about the rigorous standards of F&M.

Well I want to live in either Chicago, Jacksonville, Atalanta, Philadelphia or NYC.

Well, I would have to argue that Stetson is not even close to being the top school in the south. I would have to say the top 5 schools in the south (if you do not consider V.A. and Califorina the south) would have to be: 1. Duke 2. University of Texas 3. Vanderbilt 4. Emory, 5. Wake Forest

Thanks Big Daddy! Next time I need an unqualified opinion, I know to whom I will turn. The choice is not that simple. Wake is also in the top tier and the name seems to carry more weight despite the fact that they are lower in the rankings.

Well, I might be able to give you some insight.
We have very similar numbers. I had a 3.67 and a 162. Here is how it broke down for me:
Rejected: Penn, UCLA, Notre Dame, Northwestern Georgetown
WL: Vanderbilt, William & mary, BU, GW
Accepted: University of Minnesota, Wake, Pitt(5,000 scholarship), Temple($6,000 scholarship.
So, at least you know where you might land if you apply. Hope this helps.

I got an email from Vanderbilt yesterday. It seems the class is full but they are keeping people on the waitlist.
