OU has done this in the past to qualified applicants. They aren't idiots, and they know you most likely consider them a safety school. If you look at http://www.lawschoolnumbers.com/display.php?user=soonertbone, he went through a similar experience. Just talk to them, and see if they'll back off their deposit demand. Worst case they say no, and you are right where you are now.

Haven't seen anyone else post this, but I may have missed it. Notre Dame fee waiver and scholarship info. Snail mail, Nov 3.

I got a 174. If I retake, and it slows down my apps, how much will it hurt me?
not at all, assuming a dyslexic reading of the 174
A 471 would kick ass.

More than you can imagine. Especially with your 3.93 GPA.
I think I'll apply in 2008. That will give plenty of time to perfect my bubbling technique.

I remember when they began releasing scores for the June '05 test. They began releasing them Friday around noon, but I didn't get my score until Saturday afternoon. The wait is horrid. I worked Friday night, and everyone thought I was lying when I told them I didn't have my score yet.

3.6/178 non-URM
We need a designation for high level splitters such as this.
The designation is "Enjoy CCN, sweat HLS' waitlist".

Oh mighty HLS 2L, tell me where my 3.5, 176 will grant me admission.
This is the part where you say one of CCN, thanks for playing.

On the Columbia/NYU fee waiver debate, I received both last year... And I received neither this year
