Choosing the Right Law School / Re: If offered a scholarship,
« on: June 08, 2007, 11:21:12 PM »
I didn't ask, didn't want to push my luck.  3 years of law school for under $20,000 is still not too shabby.

I withdrew from Little Rock the other day.  Hopefully, one of y'all will get my spot.  I was trying to wait until I visited to make a final decision, but in addition to offering me a out-of-state waiver, they said they had a housing scholarship for me.  I couldn't, in good faith, accept that when it wasn't my top choice.   :'(

should you ask for more money after you've made a seat deposit?

Can someone tell me what's so good about University of Arkansas Little Rock?

Does anybody know?   ???

i can't tell that ieatpoo doesn't live in newark.

the only reason that anyone would find newark "safe" is if they stay locked up in their apartments.

i've noticed that everyone stays in a limited area ("the green zone") and does not deviate from that zone.  if you actually walk around newark and depart from the safe zone, you'll witness some crazy sh*t.  i've had the pleasure of almost getting robbed three times and even saw a homeless man giving fellatio to some fellow.  that's on top of seeing people living in the Penn Station doorway every night that i walk home. i guess i still haven't become desensitized to seeing people living in squalor and despair. i'm sure that being an opportunistic, heartless lawyer will help me overcome that.

in any case, Newark's a splendid place to live and raise a family.

a wonderful community as well.
O.M.G!  *withdrawing my application*

University of Indiana-Bloomington or University of Indiana-Indianapolis?

Hey, I'm just jumping in.  I just started sending out applications.  I sent out two at first a few weeks ago.  I got one acceptance already even though one of my numbers is terrible.  I'm about to send out another batch this week.  *fingers crossed*
