Job Search / Same Summer Job for 1L and 2L year?

Hi everyone, I was just curious as to what you all think about someone having the same job during 1L and 2L summer?  I have been with a small firm since my 1L summer, and am most likely staying this year too.  I'll probably get another part-time job somewhere else too, but it's unlikely because not a lot are out there (and my current job is paid).  As for whether this position could turn into a full-time thing in the future, I really don't know.  But assume that I want to seek other employment in the future - Just wondering, how much would this hurt me in the future when it comes to seeking employment after graduation and after bar exam, if at all?  Any comments/suggestions would be much appreciated!

General Board / No Journal in Law School?

Hello everyone, I am new here, and I just wanted some advice on whether I should try to get on a journal.  I am going to be in a clinic next semester, if I get on a journal, would that be too much work to handle? Besides from the clinic, I will also be taking 4 classes. (With a journal, then probably 3 classes) Would my schedule then be insane?  Has anyone here participated in a clinic and was on a journal at the same time and can share your experiences?

If I do not get on a journal, I will then most likely work part-time or try out for moot court next semester, asides from the clinic and classes. In my case, would there be a point to try out for the journal competition? Would not trying out for it be a big mistake? Would not getting on any journals during law school be a huge problem for me later? Any comments or suggestions would be much appreciated.
