My niece will graduate HLS with essentially those admission numbers this spring.

GALT:Yes there are many others. I will have no debt so I will be relaxed. I grew up 15 minutes away so it is home. I am politcally aligned with thw school so im comfertable. I can keep going but I do get your point and there are other factors in my favor. But still the reason Im going to howard is NO DEBT!!!! so its a moot point anyways.

I've worked at a two California state agencies (SCIF and CDCR). SCIF hired CBE's and CDCR had so many openings that many of those positions went unstaffed.

Legend is spot on with analysis...here 's my take. If you aspire above 4th tier, many L.A. schools will tell you "Go to Whittier, get good grades and transfer [here]."
If that's not your intention, you plan on private practice (or you're borrowing to attend) I say attend P.C.U. and save your earning potential for other expenditures, i.e. a home. The academy ought not become a debtors prison. There isn't too much "difference" between a 4th tier and a C.B.E. school. Additionally, if an employer will hire a 4th tier grad, they'll hire a C.B.E. grad IMO.
