Well folks. I haven't posted on this site since my LSAT frenzy days of yore, but yesterday I got the exciting news about NYU. I visited the school in the fall and was so impressed...felt like a pipe dream. Anyway, I'm almost certainly attending and I wanted to say hi to everyone matriculating this fall. Congrats to everyone.
Mind saying a little more about what you liked so much about it?
3.86/168, very top of UG, couple of essay awards. Assume excellent, detailed recs from profs and a pretty solid PS.
LSN makes G-town, Cornell, and Duke look very likely. But what about UVA, Mich, and NYU?
why do people just tell you on this site that your law school is terrible and theirs is the best? i know rutgers is not yale, but telling me loyola is better than rutgers? come on? lets talk about a real issue that has nothing to do with law school
this site should be about sharing info, not giving opinions...that is the problem with people. they cannot see the difference between what i feel and what i know. i feel things in my soul, but i know what it is in my mind. this is a real issue. what is our soul?
people dont even believe in the fact that humans have souls. and i dont mean souls like christians believe, i mean souls like how aristotle described them. what is our essence. what drives us? what connects us to the universe around us? what is our common thread? something put our universe here, but what it is it? i dont believe that god is a being, i believe he is all around us. something connects all of us to the universe and world around us. but what is it? there is more to life than just our physical beings, and i am not talking about the vestigial concept of heaven. it is deeper and more real than that. heaven exists on earth. we create our own heaven and hell. we dont die and go somewhere, that is too convenient and vestigial. tell me what you think. i respect everyones' opinions and beliefs. i do not judge.
