Throughout the law school application process, I have been planning on pursuing a joint degree in public policy or public health. Generally speaking, do you all think there is an economic payoff in the future to paying for the extra year of education?

Wait List / UCLA - wtf?« on: May 02, 2006, 10:50:25 AM »
I'm just curious if anyone else is as annoyed and just baffled by UCLA's admission process as me. My personal situation is that I applied in late October and was notified over the phone last week that I had been waitlisted. Officially, however, I have still yet to receive an actual waitlist letter. It's May 2! I've also gotten into schools that are equivalent to UCLA that I applied to much later. What are they trying to accomplish by stringing people along like this? I don't know if that's a rhetorical question or not but if anyone has any suggestions I am all ears!!

Here are my choices so far:
George Washington Washington University ($15,000/year) Emory University of Texas UC Hastings Vanderbilt I am interested in some type of career in government but I am open to the possibility of changing my mind. I like warm weather, I am liberal and I like big, fun cities. Based on that info, does anyone have an opinion about where I should go? I'm also considering UCLA and UC Berkeley (if i get in.)
