Writing the casenote for the law review write-on competition was the hardest thing I ever did.  I will find out in a week if it paid off.

Depends on your style.  For me, I never thought they helped much.  If you do use them, I think they help best for classes like Torts or Criminal Law.

I am also excited for my 2L year.  I love having the freedom to choose my own classes, and getting the required courses out of the way.

Yeah I am definitely going as well.  Are you doing full time or part time?

I got in off the waitlist at GMU last week.  I sent a letter to the Dean of Admissions as well as two additional LOR's.  I also toured the campus and found out I got in a few hours after my tour.  I formally accepted today.

Perhaps it was just a concidence, but submitting additional materials can't hurt!

Looks like I'll be going to George Mason Univ next Fall.  Like a few others on this board, just got off the waiting list!

Accepted: George Mason, Univ. of San Diego, Northeastern, Univ. of San Fran, Santa Clara, Arizona State, Chicago-Kent, Thomas Jefferson.

Rejected: Yale, Stanford, UCal-Berkley, Univ. of Washington, Georgetown, Boston College

Withdrawn: William & Mary

I was put on a waitlist at George Mason University and was just accepted last week.
