I did a search and couldn't find anything about this specific topic. I'm aware of the ABA requirement regarding attendance and the possibility of being dropped from a course and/or denied access to the final for excessive absences. I'm also aware of the wide variation between schools, courses/professors, etc. in enforcing this policy. Generally speaking, how widespread is the enforcement of this policy in P/T & evening programs given all of the conflict that inevitably occurs with jobs/family, etc.? Moreover, would somebody be able to conceivably 'make part-time law school work' that potentially would have to miss nearly half the meetings in any given class? I.e., had a 'week-on-week-off' work schedule. Is this in the least realistic or simply an invitation for academic dismissal?
