I'm attending Widener Delaware Campus and I was wondering what the best method for taking notes is if you're not using a laptop. In undergrad I used folders, looseleafs, and spirial notebooks depending on the class. But are the classes handout heavy, note-taking heavy, or what. I've spoken to many lawyers all of whom give me vague answers and I was just hoping an actual Widener student could give me some note taking pointers on Torts, Civ Pro, Property, and Legal Methods. I've heard a lot about the outlines for law school and several books have mentioned them but I have yet to see one or to understand how they differ from more traditional outlines. Also, could someone explain and perhaps post a link to a sample outline for say Torts, Civ Pro, Contracts or Property?

Just wondering if anyone was going to the Accepted Applicant Picnic on on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 ? I went to preview day and spent most of my time taling with the professors but it would be nice to get to know some classmates.
