Studying and Exam Taking / uploading answer one hour after the deadline

The examsoft crashed when I took the afternoon test and I had to change to handwriting.  The tech guy assure me that in spite of this there won't be any problem to upload the morning answer.  When I got back to hotel once I try to run the examsoft it crashed.  I uploaded my answer more than one hour after the deadline and received a confirmation letter from examsoft.

under this situation,  are they enforce the deadline very strictly?  Should I write them a letter to clarify? or a letter would be worse?

I'm waitlisted too. Seems ppl won't get off from waitlist before April according to my understandings of their words on website.  Am I wrong?

Law School Applications / What does this call mean?

I sent CLS an email two days ago asking whether my files are ready or not.  They didn't response but today I got a voice message saying "need to discuss with me about my application".  It's too late now to call back.  I'm worrying about it.  Does it mean sth wrong with my materials?  Or it means there will be an interview?  What should I prepare for my call back tmr?
