WOW Almost a perfect splitter.
I'd say plenty, including many of the t1 and most t2.
My situation was similar to yours, although not as extreme, and I got into T20 schools with $$.
lawschoolpredictor.com was very accurate in my situation, you might find it useful.

I hope I'm better at picking Law Schools and Law firms  Kaeding is a great kicker, anyone can have a crappy day. Plus, it was the whole team that lost to the Jets. It hurts Superbowl will be: I don't care anymore

I think that nothing beats doing timed, full length official tests.
The bibles, Kaplan, etc are useful for learning techniques that you haven't tried.

I think it is very doable.
I was scoring in that range 6 weeks before the test and got a 170 on the real thing.
The powerscore bibles worked for me, maybe it is not only a specific area but also your approach/technique.
If you do get a tutor be sure to get the most of it. You don't want to pay all that $$$ just to listen to something you could get from a $20 book.

I actually applied there for Spring 2010 and was recently admitted. In addition, I applied to a number of other (better ranked) schools come Fall 2010. I'm seriously considering this school... have you visited the campus yet? I don't know much about the school. If anyone could shed some light, that'd be much appreciated!
If you mean the campus, I've visited, it is located in Downtown SD, close to bus routes and the SD trolley. The gaslamp district is nearby and there's housing availabe if you're willing to have a roomate. The staff was very helpful and so were the students I talked to. It has a very relaxed athmosphere. The campus is divided in three buildings, the library (a fairly modern building), administration, and classrooms, courtroom, student lounge-organizations, etc. You have to cross the street to go from one to another. Not big deal and weather is SD is always good. It is located very close to major law firms and employers. The only problem is parking, I'm taking the trolley if I go there.

Hello,
170 LSAT, 2.6 GPA.
I'd like to stay in California, but I've heard that the schools here favor GPAs, any true to this? other than "cast a wide net" it seems to be it.
Anyone knows how being a splitter affects scholarships?
Also, how accurate is the lsac admissions calculator for splitters?
