I'm from Kansas, went to undergrad there, was accepted to law but chose elsewhere for personal reasons. its well respected in the area, and as a state school it has name recognition. its a good choice, in my opinion.
i just made the decision to go to SLU over WashU as well. In the end, the $$$ is not chump change ($20k/year in loans at SLU b/c of scholarship vs 60K/yr at WashU) and I really do want to stay in the St. Louis area. Can anyone tell me more about health law? What kind of jobs are common/available to people that get these (or other) certificates?
thanks yongsoo, i've heard similar responses from many other people, slu and washu students alike. i really have no intention of leaving the area, at the VERY least i would work in STL for a year (my boyfriend of 6 years is at medical school in st. louis, so i have reason to stick around). thanks to everyone for responding.
I have a (very) decent scholarship to SLU and nada to WashU, but I am well aware of the ranking difference. However: --I plan on staying in the St. Louis/the midwest, --and I'm very interested in Health Law, in which SLU has the #1 program in the country. I would appreciate thoughts!!
