what's wrong with Suffolk or Northeastern? they're both in the top 100 in the nation... and in your city! since you plan on staying in that market, these schools will suit you well. it's only if you planned on moving to a different state where those schools were not well known that you would have problems getting a job.
Living apart from your family for so long just is incomprehensible to me when Suffolk and Northeastern are VERY good options. who knows - you may get $$ from them!

i'd been working in a law firm for years, had a 2.44 gpa and 159 LSAT and got into schools in the top 100. I considered applying to Suffolk but my husband didn't want to move to MA, but I got into higher ranked schools anyway. You should take the LSAT before trying to figure out your chances.

I'm still on the waiting list at Univ San Diego and Santa Clara Univ.
I applied a month ago and still haven't heard back from two schools........ hoping that's a good sign b/c maybe they just waited until 6/1 for the seat deposits to come due.
