I go to the University of Iowa.

yes you are right Edin. I would never want anyone to think that. I seriously couldn't come up w/ a good answer as to why I would turn down Law Review, and if I can't come up with a good reason then I should probably choose that one :).

Do you think it matters that all I want to do is go into pubic interest. Probably start at a Legal Aid place then move on to be a prosecutor? I keep hearing how wonderful law review is so I will probably accept that one. I would rather take the more time consuming one now than to look back and regret taking the easy road.

Hey everyone,
I'm sorry in advance (I can't figure out how to search the forums). But I got into 2 of the journals at my school but now I don't know how to choose. Both are great journals; however one is more prestigious than the other. The more prestigious one has about double the time commitment as the other. Both will allow me to write about exactly what I want to. My question is does it really matter which I choose? Do future employers care about how prestigious the journal is or are they just happy you write for one? I need help ASAP I have to give them both answers within the next 10 days or so.

Thanks for your help

Bar Exam Preparation / Case Books for Bar Exam and After
« on: May 09, 2009, 10:21:47 AM »
Does anyone know if case books are useful when studying for the bar or after law school? I just finished my first year and was considering selling my books, but don't want to if I will need them later. Anyone have any idea? Thanks.
