Personal Statement / Sample Addendum?
« on: February 16, 2009, 03:34:47 AM »
Hello,

Does anyone know where I can find a sample addendum? Or does anyone have one that they are willing to PM me? I don't know what format or style to use and would like to see an exmaple.

Thanks!

Where should I go next fall? / Re: Geroge Mason vs American
« on: February 05, 2009, 03:27:27 AM »
I recently toured both of these law schools. Personally, I liked American better. GM seemed a bit out of the way. I was not very impressed with their law school.

As for American, the campus was nice (and HUGE). It just had a better feel to me.

Just my opinion....

Personal Statement / Looking for a second opinion re: PS
« on: January 28, 2009, 05:07:07 PM »
Hello!

I about half way through writing my personal statement (it is a work in progress) and I am really stuck. Not sure whether to keep going with my current statement or start over again. If anyone is willing to read my work in progress I would greatly appreciate it! Please let me know!

Thanks for your time!

Don't want to sound negative.... but it is hard to be approved for the accommondations that you request (especially for extra time). I have tried this twice now. I submitted over 100 pages of documentation and letters from my doctors (including one from Johns Hopkins) and I was still denied. I would reccommend that you submit as much relevant documentation as possible.

Here's a link that I thought was helpful (just wish I found out about before I began this process):
http://www.ada.gov/lsac.htm

Good luck!

Law School Applications / Search Function

Hi!

I am new to the discussion board and am trying to find out how to search within the discussion board. I don't search a search button anywhere. Sorry for the silly question but I have been trying to figure this out for a while now. Thanks!
