I was wondering the extent to which grade trends in UGPAs are(n't) taken into account during the law school admissions process. It seems that the LSAC GPA merely provides a number for admissions people to glance at quickly, with little or no regard to nuancing what trends maybe be present in their transcript. For instance...I graduated with a 3.72, but had an average first year (3.3, classes not in my major) and eventually got nearly all As the remaining years. Will that be evident to admissions councils through the LSAC GPA or will it all just be erased? Any input would be greatly appreciated!
