Why NYU, for you? What were your other top choices?

NYU really touts its public interest commitment -- do you have any experience with the school putting that into practice?

Thanks!

If you are attending law school in august 09? what is the Ideal way to prepare for law school during the 8 months left before August (if you have clear schedule until then)?

I haven't been there yet, but here's what I would do if I didn't have to work every waking hour until classes start: have fun and not think about law school too much. Read some books, take a trip, visit old friends.

First take the LSAT, then figure it out.

2d. Don't worry too much about where you're going to school yet -- you won't start for another two years, almost.

Study up for the LSAT instead.

It sounds like you're in a good position, with some strong personal experiences to draw from and a job that'll sustain you until you go to school (er, I think -- it is a bank after all). You'll have plenty of time later to obsess about where you're going.

Accepted to NYU today via the big purple packet.

Ditto. They don't make that thing easy to open. Congrats!
