Studying for the LSAT / Re: LSAT SCORES ARE OUT
« on: July 03, 2008, 03:04:41 PM »
Maybe it is just the Montreal test center that takes ages.....maybe the local quebecois language commission figured that the score release does not conform with bill 101, leading to a ban of all LSAT scores in the province of Quebec....

they must have found a way to block scores from TO too :(

And vancouver :( :( :(

1. Practice practice practice...

Buy Powerscore LR Bible. Its a life safer for people like me and you (im slow in LR too). Understand the questions and then go nuts with practice. Thats the ONLY way.

2. It depends...nothing more to say. What is your diagnostic? How often do you practice? etc etc

I think you will find a further discussion of the horror of having to pee in the LSAT Horror Stories section. I went pee right before I went in. And as soon as I sat down, I had to pee again. It's just like, remove my access to a bathroom, and I have to go. I had a whole plan sorted in case I had to pee in my seat. Thankfully it never came to that and also if it had, I was in the far right corner so no one would have seen me. But I have felt your pain.

Meggo!!! I thought I was the only one with this problem...As SOON as i realize theres no bathroom for awhile, it becomes a mind game and I start wanting to go...I hate it, very annoying. I went to the bathroom like 3 times before the LSAT and then immediately i wanted to go again during section 1...and i didnt even have to....weird.

Studying for the LSAT / Re: More anxiety post-test than pre-test?
« on: June 24, 2008, 02:53:22 PM »
mmmm you guys are making me thirsty and all I have is beer (albeit great beer, as my German heritage demands)

I love how this thread abandoned the lsat and became a discussion of alcohol  :D

What can a thread about post-test anxiety be other than a discussion of alcohol?

besides an alcohol problem,I:
1. have constant nightmares/sleep problems
2. developing internet addiction
3. stressed eating :( (going to take care of that through gym)
4. headaches

id prefer to talk about booze...any other suggestions?

Grey Goose, can you find anything with any less bang for the buck? The pop culture thing has led that brand to be ridiculously overpriced for the quality, there are so many vodkas just as or almost as good that are $10 cheaper.

But then again....maybe once you have a real job that $10 isn't as big a deal.

Hey, if you want to recommend something better, I'm all for it.  I just happen to like the taste and generally don't prefer the taste of some other popular ones like Ketel One.

Personally, I've made an investment in a big bottle of vodka and it nursed me all weekend while I was at my boyfriends cabin in Victoria...let me tell you, i didnt even think of LSAT (well maybe once or twice...ok...i brought my laptop w/ me so i could check LSD. Thats normal, right?)

but if how much you're stressed over the LSAT is reflected in how much you've been drinking since the test (as mentioned by one of the posters), then I will give you a run for your money. I drank 5 nights out of 7 this week. Lets hope I survive before the score comes out  :o

I kind of feel like having more alcohol tonight...hmmm

LSAT horror stories / Re: Were you one of these LSAT test takers?
« on: June 23, 2008, 11:42:16 PM »
I was many things...

1. Brooks Brothers Wife/Grungy - Skinny jeans with Max Mara heals, Chanel sunglasses, hair down, and a t-shirt with a wicked Caroline D. design.
2. Comic - god, i wish i shut the hell up. I was annoying myself. when im nervous I cant stop talking.

Otherwise, normal. Didnt make any noise, brought 5 pencils, eraser and a sharpener, 1 bottle of water, 1 granola bar. I did twirl my hair like an idiot, but i do that when im extremely stressed and forget where I am. Filthy habit :(

ive been coming here every day too...but i had a 40 page paper due today which i had to write in 2 days, so that kept me nice and occupied.

now that its done, im back to stressing over the score...so its how many days left? 14? 18?

ok excuse me i resent the brunette comment.

And you dont have to be 350 to be dull...You are thin and dull :) :) :-X

I kid i kid. :D

anyway. i always thought you have to be somewhat intelligent to get into law school? And its a stereotype, but its kind of true about super sexy girls. Sometimes i meet girls who are like geniuses and genetically superior,so they are both effortlessly sexy and smart.

I, on the other hand, require effort for sexyness and smartness. So i either show up prepared to an exam looking like a garbage hag or i show up looking like a sexy beast and get 51%. Im trying to have it all, but 3 hours of sleep a night to catch up on school work is working against me!
