don't forget how many calls he actually has to make - there is plenty of time to still get your call. the guy calls something like 1000 people over approx. 4 months. lets assume that is 80 days (5 day work week) - he has to make something like 12 calls per day - and that's two hours of his time assuming the calls are approx 10 minutes each. and we know he probably hasn't been making that many calls so far - so there are still plenty of calls to make.

if i went complete a month ago and haven't gotten an email yet am i out of luck? or is there still a chance. when should i be giving up hope?

don't want to speak for her (or him) but heartbreaker has the numbers and should definitely get in - no email yet though.

me don't have gpa in the range (although not much off), complete and no email either.

although, in regards to the other conversation, i do wonder why 300 or so people don't get in after the phone call. if their numbers were on the verge of rejection, what would a 5 or 10 minute phone call do? maybe it's not just a "psycho screen" like some have suggested?

who knows the answer but i bet there are plenty of people who embellish their softs. so ts may ask some detailed questions about their interests/softs, etc and realize their application is not a great representation of their real experiences. also, alot of them might just be waitlisted based on other their numbers, etc.

Back when applications were entirely paper-based that would be ridiculous, but even in the electronic application era it still seems kind of unlikely; he would have taken them with him to Chad (Africa)? Really not trying to be a wet blanket Just couldn't help but chime in, since it's a topic of interest to me, too.

how do you know he was in chad? wasn't that a blog from some 2L student?

well he may have sent out a few before his trip so that he can make the calls as soon as he gets back. i bet a whole bunch will get sent the week of Oct. 27th.
