it doesn't appear that way...

i am also leaning toward going; lest i miss something important... i don't know what... a good cheeseburger maybe.

I have not received any details regarding it other than it is on Sunday... i am going to go to campus tomorrow to get my ID, parking permit, materials...   i was out of town when the mailing came... i am slightly neurotic about having everything...  there is a conflict in my section  between the booklist from the bookstore and the first week assignment list in my legal writing class which is making me a little nutty...  :-\  oh well -- such is life

maybe i'll see you next week-- good luck!!

is the first week class?  or is it orientation... all week??  ...  i am a bit ocd about planning.  the books are sort of available--they said on the bookstore website by monday of last week 7/22. some were not there and still aren't.  i ordered the ones they didnt have online as i will be out of town and fear they will be out of new books (again... mildly compulsive about having new books)...

anyhow-- any info about the first week that you could share would be swell.  i assume that they will have a day where we will get id's and perhaps a welcome ... although when i entered my master's program (at a different university) there was none of that.

General board for soon-to-be 1Ls / Re: work and law school

this question revolves around how much you know yourself and what phase of life you are in.

i have eight years of work experience and am going to treat law school the same as i treated my full-time job.  Law school is 9-5 and maybe an hour or two at home when needed.  my average day has me in the classroom for only 4 hours.. that leaves 1 hour to eat and 3 to work.  plus sat. and sunday...   i dont see where working a couple of hours in the evening is detrimental.

how about 8 yrs. in the same job?

just so you dont get startled...

i have received THREE such packages from Brooklyn Law since i applied... one like you got... the next one with more brochures... and the third was identical to the second...

they're killing me!  ...

good luck!
