rJMOL is not review of the facts as found by jury, but a review of the motion JMOL.  That's the reason why first motion is required for the second one--to circumvent the 7th amendment and so that they can say that's it's not judge reviewing the facts, but judge reviewing the request for motion.

Yes, imo there are quite a few.  Having heard all these horror stories, it came as a pleasant surprise.

I am not the person you're looking for (low numbers), and I don't intend to dampen your enthusiasm here, but GULC gets a ton of applications every year, and they are not one of the schools known for soft factor selectivity. Soft factors may help you if you apply to the evening program though.  Their GPA/LSAT are not as high, there are about 110 or so spots, so they get more selective when it comes to soft factors.

A question for current students who live on campus:  did you get your first priority arrangement?  What was it (single/double/triple)?  If you didn't get your first option, which one did you get (if you remember of course)?  Thanks!
