Law School Admissions / Due Date for Deposit-is it rigid?

Anybody know if the date is the date received or the date postmarked?
also, is it possible to ask the law schools to extend a couple of days or a week? Thanks,

What we have learned from these graphs for this year (as of yet):
One dude with an awesome gpa/lsat got assraped at Michigan. Other than that, 3.4+/169+ = auto-notrejected
Cooley is still sweet
Yale apparently has only one 85 year old dude handling applications, and he's lazy as hell.

excellent brief. tag.

Law School Admissions / Is Yale the reason this cycle is going so tardy?

this time last year yale had already given out way more decisions. this year it's getting so slowly. my theory is that this in turn slows down the decision-making in other T14 schools--the pecking order dictates the other schools look up for yale for any further moves. any thoughts?

i got some money with the acceptance letter, but am just wondering, is that it? there's no other application for more money, just wait to see what they would give you based on your application for admission?

i'm waiting for the schools' decisions, as well as my tax return form.

not exactly sure. but would it be the same with needaccess, where you can list only 6 schools at a time, but can always add more in the next batch or two?

for those who are applying to more than one school (in my case, 14) are you paying the $15 report fee for all the schools, or only the schools you got in, and wait for other decisions to come?
