My school is offering all LLM programs to the 2009 grads for a discounted price of $9000 for the year. The school is Loyola Chicago. I am not sure well their tax program is ranked/regarded but this is a phenomenal price for an LLM. Would it be worth it? Ideally, I would like to work for the fed gov (IRS in particular). Thanks in advance.

Big law will be possible in 2-3 years once you have some experience under your belt and the economy improves... Good luck!
actually i have pretty good grades (top 13% at a t2) and am working at a large firm this summer... I wanted to get on the journal so I could be more competitive for a d.c clerkship (anywhere) or a more prestigious firm...
Thanks for the postings.. minus the wise ass comment
