I just sent in my applications, but I totally forgot I was missing a transcript from work I did at a JC and the schools wont look at it, so I'm having them mail it in ASAP.

My question: Will the schools that hold my application save my "spot" in line (as other apps fill in) while they are waiting for my transcript?

I'm FREAKING OUT!! I need an answer, anything!

So I have two LORs sent with my applications. The problem is, I asked another person for a LOR recently, and he's still writing it.

My question: Will the schools still look at them? Do I send it to them (via LSAC) or do I just wait until/if they ask for it?

Please someone get back to me when you can!!

It was suggested that I send a DS to all the schools I am applying to. What do you think?

Also, how long should the DS be? Two pages double spaced?

I'm in the same predicament. Sorry I cant help, but please keep me posted on a reply! In the mean time, I will search and PM you if I find anything worth mentioning.

Law School Admissions / Re: how to write an addendum?
« on: November 05, 2006, 12:22:33 PM »
Would you write an addendum if you only took the test once, but it was lower than your practice exams? This was my October test and December all filled before I could get a crack at it (and use it to apply for Fall of 07).

One page double spaced? Where would I send one to? All schools?

Hey ladies and gents!

I finished revamping my PS and I was hoping someone could read it.

I'll read yours if you like.

Law School Admissions / How should I apply? Joint degree question.
« on: October 23, 2006, 05:57:29 PM »

I am on the fence whether or not I want to pursue a joint degree (JD/MBA) and on most applications, there is a box to check.

Should I apply as a JD or a JD/MBA? Will schools allow me to switch after one year to a joint degree?

How will it affect my chances of getting in? Or does it?

I was hoping someone could shed some light on this for me.

Thank you in advance!

Studying for the LSAT / Help! Potential conflict of material?
« on: April 16, 2006, 09:29:48 PM »

I'm going to take the Test Masters course this summer and take the September test. I recently bought the Powerscore Bibles (logic games and logical reasoning) and was hoping to look over their strategies.

My questions are:

Will there be a conflict in the strategies they teach?
Am I better off just selling the Powerscore books and not read them?
If so, anyone looking for Powerscore books? Both brand new.

Thanks for all the help!

Choosing the Right Law School / JD/MBA? Confused and not sure what to do...
« on: September 13, 2005, 02:20:02 PM »

I've been going through the forums and they have been EXTREMELY useful and this is my first post. I was hoping somoneone out there that has been in my similar situation can help (or anyone else for that matter).

I'm currently a third year at UC Davis studying Economics and Communication. I want to go into a jd/mba program. My questions:

Do all business schools offer a jd/mba program?
Do all law schools offer a jd/mba program?
Does a school being great for law or business necessarily mean that it is great in the other?
Do I need to take the LSAT AND the GMAT?
The scores for each exam are good for 5 years aren't they?

Is there anyone out there that is doing or has done a jd/mba? I wouldn't mind swapping e-mails.  :)

Thank you for all of your guys' time! Any help would be wonderfully appreciated.

Best of luck everyone.
