Studying for the LSAT / logic game must be true questions« on: February 06, 2009, 07:14:25 PM »
I am pretty good at answering the must be true questions that also give some background info but I am terrible at answering those that in a single sentence say: "which of the following mus be true?" And no other info.

LSAC and LSDAS / small mistake on application« on: February 06, 2009, 08:24:19 AM »
I thought I reviewed my applications thoroughly, but due to my Jewish luck I realized a small error on one of the applications. I forgot to put an 'x' in the box where it asked if I was born in the USA or not, but then on the next line it asked where I was born and I wrote my birthplace.
What should I do? will this error be taken heavily?? 3

Question 1)Does each school require its own personal statement or do I just write one standard one and attach it to my applications?
Question 2) How long does it take to fill out an application (time wise) Question 3) I am retaking the LSAT in February. Should I have my applications in before then or wait till I take it? Thanks everyone! 5

I dont think I will have enough time to study for december. February is a safer bet. I got a 155 on my first lsat and I still want a 162-168. If I retake in Feb, can I still get into law school for the fall 2009 semester?

Does getting accepted/rejected really happen within the same month that you send in your application?
To those that read my previous post about LSDAS, I finally registered, and I don't know what took me so long but I was under the impression that acceptance/rejection letters only come in the spring. Don't ask why I thought this but I did. 7

I am taking my first LSAT this saturday, and am pressuring my professors to complete my LORs by sometime soon (maybe 3rd week of october)
Is it ok that I didnt register for LSDAS yet? and that I didnt start filling out applications? It is ok to wait until I see what I get on the LSAT? Thanks everyone 8
Studying for the LSAT / Re: October LSAT thread (T-Minus 6 Days)« on: September 29, 2008, 01:54:43 PM »For my last few timed PTs I added a 5th section and a bubble sheet and I'll keep that up until my last timed PT. I took a timed pt this morning - pt 52. I'm doing 53 on Tuesday and 54 on Thursday. Same here. Started practicing with bubble sheets and just redoing old tests now. Just finished PT 51 and did 52 and 54 last week. At this point, I can proudly--and sadly say that i've done every single game, RC, and LR that LSAC has ever created. I hope it all pays off on Saturday =) 9

Yes very very true, I definitely don't want to bubble in anything I'm not supposed to if thats how strict they are.
I will wear a watch and hope that I can pace myself. The skipping around thing is definitely something I do a lot so I will try your technique today. Thanks! =) 10

I'm so scared that I wont have time to finish bubbling in a few answers.
what is your guys' technique for each section. I think the best way to go about the games is to bubble in after each game, but I have no set technique for the other sections. Also....say the proctor calls time and u missed bubbling in 2 or 3 answers but you remember them by heart, or write them down somewhere. Can you sorta slide your hand over to that sections bubbling area and sorta fill it in as you are doing a different section, or will my score be cancelled forever? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
