Do they consider your law school's ranking?
It seems like they do, but class rank is by far the most important factor.  From the info ive gathered, the order of importance seems to be:

(1) Class rank
(2) School rank
(3) Reason(s) for transferring

Number one is well ahead of the other factors.  (2) and (3) are rather close. hth

Wrong. (2) is just as if not more important than #1. Nice try! Trying to comfort yourself? Did you transfer yet?

#3 can be made up.

1L job search / Re: Options for Georgetown 1L's

You'll see soon enough that working for a judge is generally a very positive experience. However, your experience will vary greatly depending on the law clerks. They will assign you work, so if they are swamped, they'll give you A LOT of responsibility early on. On the other hand, if they have their own system or don't have much work, you may find yourself doing a lot of court observation.

How much is the pay for the 1L summer associates?  And how high do you have to rank in a school like GULC to land a 1L summer job?  10% 15% 25%?

Hey I posted this in the transfer section but posting it again.  So if you answered the other one, don't even bother.

What class rank do I have to be in order to get into at least one of the school?  25%, 15% 10% 5%?  Please help me.
