Choosing the Right Law School / Re: Sub-170 Support Group
« on: June 19, 2006, 11:32:04 AM »
Hi, I'm John Galt. I failed to break 170 on my LSAT, but I once won $500,000 on one hand of poker, found the cure to a rare and but infectious disease, and managed to never miss an episode of family guy on sunday.

Hmm...  I think you can hit 170.  Why not withdraw and try again next year.  I'm sure you can get into some better schools...   :D ::)

Hi. My true name was taken from me after I dishonored my clan by failing to score a 170 on the LSAT.

I was scoring 180's on all the practice tests. When I went in to take the real LSAT, I discovered I had actually been taking practice GMATs.

That would be funny, except the GMAT is on a different scale.  Edit your post to say:

"I was getting perfect scores on all of the practice tests. When I went in to take the real LSAT, I discovered I had actually been taking practice GMATs."

 ;D

5. Interesting terminology point. When you say northeast to people who are from there, they think you are referring to New England. New York (which is what I think you meant) is not usually grouped in with the northeast.

Wow, I've never heard someone say that NY isn't in the northeast...  Where do you consider it to be?

Based on job prospects/salary($$), which school am I better off with?  Job preference will be warm weather over cold weather.

Please discuss.
