I used the understanding series for all of those subjects. They were pretty helpful.

U of Toledo / Re: Transition Program at Toledo--Anyone accepted into this program« on: May 15, 2007, 05:51:30 PM »I was recently accepted for Fall 2007. Has anyone ever been successful in asking to be raised to full time, or taking a fourth class as someone earlier mentioned? Want to expand on why you have a strong dislike for Toledo? 3
General Board / Re: Commercial Outlines? or WHAT....help« on: September 13, 2006, 10:59:43 PM »what is have u guys found to be the most helpful study aids. should i be looking at getting commercial outlines or hornbooks or what? It really depends on your casebooks/authors. If you're looking for a short cut to briefing each case, you'll want either High Court Case Summaries or Legallines and make sure it's keyed to your casebook. If you're looking for help with outlines you'll want a commercial outline like Gilbert's or Emanuels on your particular subject. 4

Studying and Exam Taking / Re: Where does one buy commercial briefs/outlines?« on: September 01, 2006, 07:12:14 PM »Okay I'm sorry if this post seems stupid, but can someone please help me out. Can I find this kind of stuff at my local Borders? What are some good commercial brief/outline companies? Do they just sell briefs to one whole book or how does it work? Nope you won't find them at Borders. You will find them at your local law school bookstore though. There's also barristerbooks.com or for used study aids look on half.com or ebay. Commerical outlines are different from commercial briefs. Commercial outlines outline the main topics and rules of a subject, while commercial briefs will have briefs for all the cases in your casebook. Your main option for commercial outlines are Gilbert or Emanuels. For commerical briefs which are keyed to your specific case book there's High Court Case Summaries, Casenotes, or Legalines. 6
General Board / Re: Outliner 4.0 VS OneNote« on: June 23, 2006, 02:05:09 PM »
I used StoreLaw for a little while, then Word, and then finally OneNote. OneNote is awesome because you can really organize your notes, outlines, etc. all in one. Storelaw just didn't have enough features that I could really make use of. My vote is for OneNote. Also, check with your campus bookstores because I got the student version of OneNote for like $20 and it was well worth it.

General Board / Re: Conditions - Express v. Constructive« on: April 24, 2006, 07:45:38 PM »
The way I see it is that an express condition is specifically stated by the parties, whereas a contructive condition is created by the court.
I didn't think an express condition can become a constructive condition....I see them as two separate things. Anyone else have thoughts? 8
