LSAC and LSDAS / Re: Mail-in Application
« on: October 25, 2007, 10:41:35 PM »
I'm wondering the same thing, I think that you just have to order enough reports to cover paper and online applications and the school will automatically request the report, but I'm not sure.  Does anyone know?

Order enough reports, and the school will automatically request your report when your application is processed.

And with everything law school, you should err on the side of disclosure...This may come back to haunt you.

I am aware of that.  The questions are: how one gets caught and what are the chances.

Here is the real risk you are taking.

You can fool LSAC.  Graduate from law school.  But when you apply for the BAR, they do a very thorough search.  If you lie on your law school apps, even a lie of ommission, you can be prevented from taking the BAR.

Is that worth it?

If you have an online account with LSAC, login and look under Profile - Biographical -- its at the very bottom.

Good luck.

Are you talking about the online application, or the LSDAS service?

Perhaps I missed it, but why did LSAC think you attended this college in the first place?

Law School Applications / Re: LSAC E-APP HELP!!!

does anyone know how to get rid of that f-ing typing delay in LSAC apps? when i type it has this f-ing delay when i enter sh*t.  it takes like 1 second per letter. how do u get rid of this crap????? it drives me nuts

The issue, if you are working on a Windows XP platform, has to due with use of "Clear Fonts."

You can adjust this in your Properties setting (right click on your screen, choose properties).  Choose "Standard Fonts" instead of "Clear Fonts"

That should reduce lag dramatically.

If you have no idea what I am talking about, call LSAC support.  They can walk you through it.

The support phone number is all over their website.

Stanly, you are missing some key differences between the war churchill was involved in and cheney's war.

1 - Great Britian was defending itself from Nazi Germany.  The US took a "pre-emptive" action against a nation that it perceived to be a threat.  The perception was wrong, fyi.

2 - Cheney sold the war on how easy it would be.  He predicted we would be greated as liberators, and others in the admininstration said the war would "pay for itself"

Cheney continues to lie to this day about the need for war, the state of the war, and the cost of the war.

Cheney, in my humble opinion, is nothing more than a criminal.

I would guess "requires" is significant.  Outside of that, I can't imagine it matters too much.

it appears you would rather cry and stop your feet rather than just get it fixed.
