Anyone going to UMN from chicago?

Anyone have any good ideas?  I've seen volunteer oppurtunities, but they all charge (??) a hefty fee for just a few weeks.  I am currently a working professional and would like some sort of break inbetween.

So just to verify, but other than filling out the FAFSA (indicating the targeted schools) and fill out the Need Access for the schools who require it, there are no other forms to fill out?

I am just curious.  I think I am in the grey area so either it might take a while or it was due to the holiday break or both.  I have heard back from 2 schools so far.

Is it in the acceptance letter?

Has anyone tried sending in the optional essay after submitting the application?  I chose to apply earlier as oppose to squeezing out a bad essay.  Although now that I am sitting and waiting, I thought aboutiing attempting one.  If they do take it, will my application be moved back to the bottom of the pile?

I thought I give this thread a try for more bites...thanks again.

How true is it when a school says it will take the higher score?  Did any of you get into a school where your stats, LSAT avg. and GPA, would not have gotten you in if they didn't take the higher score?

I applied conservatively using only my avg. LSAT, this would just bolster my confidence in my reaches.

Thanks ahead of time.
