I plan on applying to 10 different law schools. Some of the schools website's say that my PS should include why I am applying to their school, but some dont. Should I just write one PS for all 10 or do each one individually?

Essays I have written in college always have my name, date, class, professor's name, page numbers, and a title. What is the format for a PS? Do I just put a title and that's it, or what? Thanks!

Ok. My GPA is heading south b/c of the LSAC conversion (by .25 to be exact). Should I include an explanation of why it went down in an addendum w/ my app or PS? This has really upset me and I feel like I need to explain.

Hey guys! I have been thinking about personal statement topics and I would like to mention my family life. My father went to prision for my childhood and both of my parents are addicts, so I lived with my grandmother. Does anyone think that would be appropriate to talk about.It has been a huge part of my life and and has made my passion for a legal career. I just dont want the admissions committee to think I am using some sob story to generate sympathy. Any ideas? Please help!
