Law School Applications / 3.95 gpa / 154 lsat

I scored a 154 (admittedly low on this board, but I scored a 129 on my first diagnostic) on the September 2007 test - 3 points below my average on practice tests. With a GPA of 3.95, where do you think I can go? I hope to stay on the West Coast.

What schools would I have a legitimate shot at? Santa Clara? ASU?

Law School Applications / LSAT or Internship

Would you recommend that I spend the summer preparing for the LSAT by taking a prep course or should I take the opportunity to intern for a member of Congress?

I know LSAT and GPA are the two most important factors in an application, but...interning for a congressmen seems like a great way to punch up the resume.

What do you all think?

Law School Applications / Undergraduate Stay

I'm currently a third year at a cal-state school and was undeclared up until the end of my second year. I decided to go into political science but I'm really reconsidering my position on it because I find it laborious and not what I expected. I do have a few English classes under my belt and I am currently considering a switch to English. The only problem would be an extended stay of an extra year or so to complete the BA. I'm also doing a few minors. Would law schools count that against me?

Law School Applications / pre-law major

I hope I can get some advice between two majors I'm considering right now. I currently attend a public university (in the California State University system) and it's not the most prestigious of schools. That being said, which major would I benefit the most from - Political Science or Criminal Justice? I suppose Criminal Justice could be viewed as some type of "Pre-Law" major even though I am well aware that no one major can be defined as "pre-law." I tried English this past semester and found it to be dreadful. I just finished my second year and need to commit to one subject for the next 2 years. Please help.
