U of Texas - Austin / Transnational Worker Rights clinic
« on: July 04, 2005, 01:39:53 PM »
Would any UT students/affiliates be willing to share any experiences/impressions they have of the Transnational Worker Rights clinic?  From what I little information I've found, this sounds like it would blend my interests in poverty and labor rights issues (the reasons I want to study law in the first place).  I'd really appreciate more info anyone would care to share.

Financial Aid / FAFSA and 10-school limit
« on: January 27, 2008, 01:54:46 PM »
On the FAFSA, they only let you list 10 schools to receive the info.  What if I'm applying to 10+ law schools?  I'd need financial aid wherever I end up!

Studying for the LSAT / Fee waivers for Decembrists?
« on: December 19, 2007, 07:28:46 AM »
I'm sure this has been asked before, but I'm simply too lazy to churn through all the old threads looking for it.  Do we December LSAT takers have any chance of getting fee waivers based on our scores?  I imagine we all will be applying more or less immediately after getting the score, so would likely have already paid the fees before any such waivers could be issued.  Who knows about this?

Studying for the LSAT / December 16
« on: December 12, 2007, 09:59:14 AM »
From :

"On Sunday, December 16, the website, all LSAC web services (including LSDAS Electronic Applications, Candidate Online Services, the ABA/LSAC Official Guide to ABA-Approved Law Schools, and ItemWise), and the LLM Credential Assembly Service website will be unavailable from approximately 7:30 am ET to 11:00 am ET due to scheduled maintenance."

Could this "scheduled maintenance" be the release of certain three-digit numbers?  Let the speculation commence!

Studying for the LSAT / Retaking: Chances for improvement?
« on: April 13, 2006, 03:13:56 PM »
I'm admittedly not entirely at peace with my LSAT score and am considering a retake.  Does LSAC (or anyone else) keep data on odds of improving one's score the second time around?

Law School Admissions / UTexas Admissions Change

Anyone care to speculate on how UT's increased proportion of non-residents admitted will affect admissions there?
