Acceptances / U of U (Utah)

At risk of creating the least viewed, quickest to die thread in the "Acceptances" forum... I was notified today via phone call from Dean Aguilar.  My first, and likely only phone call. Good news nonetheless.

Acceptances / ND?

I don't mean to get anyone's hopes up but it appears that Notre Dame has accepted at least one applicant this cycle.  Apparently they really wanted him as he received his acceptance via overnight mail (which sounded rather remarkable to me).  Does anyone else have any news re: Notre Dame?

Personal Statement / optional essay question-question

Does anyone think it would be suicidal to mention, in one of my optional UMich. essays, that I participated in the illegal act of hitch-hiking while in high school?  Unlike my PS and other optional essay, this essay is somewhat more lighthearted in tone however, I don't want to come off as irresponsible or unaware of the consequences of lawless behavior.  Advice?

Where should I go next fall? / 3.7/167

Here is my list of top choices in order:
U of C
UC Berkley
Penn Law
Notre Dame

I know I am pretty much out for UC and Boalt but I was wondering if anyone can give me their opinion about the others.  I have 4 years of full time work experience during school in a law related job.  Additionally, I left school for two years as a full time missionary.  Finally, I have been a volunteer as a reading tutor, a mentor at a juvenile detention facility and worked with at risk minority children of abused women.  I should have decent but not great lor's from two professors and should get a glowing letter from my job.  Any thoughts.
