Politics and Law-Related News / The Forgotten Conflict - Iraq
« on: August 07, 2006, 10:50:49 AM »
I was shocked to read this... :o It is incidents like these which fuel further hatred for Americans and American troops in Iraq. I dont understand why would any soldier act in such a way?

Choosing the Right Law School / A Question Reg. Waitlists
« on: July 08, 2006, 12:35:27 AM »
Is it true that some law schools do not have Waitlists. One of the law schools i applied to said that we do not have waitlists. The person on the phone told me that you have a strong chance but i cannot tell you when or if you will get the acceptance. What does this mean? Already its been more than 3 months since i applied to this school and no correspondence as of yet. Your input will be appreciated.

Choosing the Right Law School / My 146 & My Dilemma
« on: May 20, 2006, 02:56:40 PM »
ok so here it goes. I always wanted to do law. Went to a decent private business school in NYC. But then came the LSAT and almost shattered my dreams. I scored a 146 and still feel awful about it. Got rejected by 9 schools as expected but just got my acceptance at Touro. Now i am not sure if i should do law at a school such as Touro which obviously has the lowest rating in the NY region. Is it worth getting a law degre from such a school or should i just go with the MBA option. I am pretty sure i can do well on the GMAT. But i want to make sure that i did not make the wrong decision. This is such an important time of our lives and i would appreciate if i could get honest responses. Thanks a lot in advance.

Hey guys

Has any one of you heard from Fordham, Brooklyn Law, or Pace. Just wondering as i applied reg. decision to these schools and was wondering if some of you got your letters.

Just wondering. How long is an average personal statement. What is considered to be too less or too much. I am currently hovering around a 1000 words. Is that too much?

What advice would you give to us Dec test takers? My weakpoint is the LG section and after hearing what you guys have to say about the Oct LG section i am thinking that the LSAC guys in PA may throw in a few weird games in Dec. Anyways. Do you recommend working on the RC section? Any other advice will be appreciated...Thanks

Politics and Law-Related News / Roger Federer does it again !!!
« on: September 12, 2005, 11:58:51 AM »
So this guy does it again. Am i the only one who feels that this guy is just unbeatable at the moment. Agassi played well but was outclassed by Federer. However i am not sure if he will be able to follow the footsteps of a great player like Andre. Its easy to perform when you are 24 but its a different story if you are 35. Nevertheless both of them played great tennis.

How many of you think Federer will be able to sustain this run in the near future? I for one think so.

Studying for the LSAT / Is a 5 point improvement really an improvement ?
« on: September 07, 2005, 09:20:10 AM »
Ok so here's the deal. I am currently enrolled in the TM class and until now have given the 2 diag. Unfortunately i got a 144 on the First Diag and a 143 on the Second  :-\ I knew i had to work my ass off if i had to get a decent score. Just went over the LRB and got a 148 on the FEB 00 LSAT. I was really expecting a 10 point increase after learning soo much from the bible. But i just managed to improve 5 points from my last diagnostic. Is a 5 point improvement really a big improvement, i just feel i am in the same position when i gave the first two diag's even though i improved. I was hoping to touch a 150 on this diag.

I really feel terrible at the moment. Are there people out there who are in the same position or were in the same position at some time during their LSAT prep.? Any advice or comments will be appreciated.
