Studying for the LSAT / enough time?
« on: November 22, 2005, 03:25:21 AM »
Do you guys think if I began studying now that I'd have enough time to prepare for the February test? I haven't had much time because of UG classes. :( My plan is if I don't have the score I want on diagnostics by the time Feb. rolls around, I'll push it back to June.

Has anyone studied the LGB and LRB at the same time, or is that unheard of?

Thanks :)

Studying for the LSAT / Self studying
« on: October 10, 2005, 06:21:51 PM »
Could anyone give me suggestions on what self-studying methods they used? Such as when you began studying for the test, hours per week, etc.

Thanks :)

Studying for the LSAT / February?
« on: September 25, 2005, 01:50:49 AM »
Is anyone here taking the Feb. test and studying a lot already? I haven't got to study much lately (actually only took a practice test), because of school and stuff.

Just seeing how everyone else is handling things. Or seeking out reassurance that it's OK I'm not studying already. Or something.

Studying for the LSAT / What books?
« on: September 13, 2005, 02:01:02 AM »
I'm looking to self-study. What books do everyone recommend for this? Is the Official LSAT Superprep any good?

I know the obvious LGB, LRB and such. :)

Any suggestions? Thanks

Studying for the LSAT / My first prep test (June 1996)
« on: September 11, 2005, 02:07:03 AM »
I just finished my first prep test ever.. I haven't studied at all yet, and I want to begin soon. I got a 159.

I missed eight in the games, seven in logical reason, and eight in the second logical reasoning part, and six in reading comprehension. I'm kind of disappointed in how I scored.

The way I took this test was really laid back... It was untimed, I took long breaks, and I frequently stopped to see how I was doing in the section. Needless to say, it took me several hours to actually finish. I'm a bit scared of how I'll actually finish in the time I get for the real test. Hopefully I'll improve!

Any thoughts?

Does anyone else watch this? Or am I just a loser? I'm obsessed with it.

I don't like Jason. He's the best looking guy, I think, but he's got problems.

Recommendations / Online professor

I had an online professor this summer, and he repeatedly said he was impressed by my work and such. Do you think it would be a good idea to ask him for a letter? I'm actually not filling out apps until next fall.

Links to where you can donate are at the end.

I'm a big animal lover, and I couldn't imagine leaving my pets behind or losing them. Just another thing victims had to go through that I can't even fathom.
