Pasted below is part of an e-mail I received from LSAC:

Recently, repeated attempts have been made to log in to your LSAC online account
incorrectly.  Although these attempts were unsuccessful, your account has been
locked for your protection.  Please contact LSAC technical support at
215.968.1393 or to regain access to your account.

I haven't even looked at LSAC in over a year at least.  Although I will be needing my accout for transfer applications this summer.  Anyone have any idea who would attempt to log in, or is it a simple mistake & I am a mildly paranoid law student?

Current Law Students / Burn Out
« on: December 14, 2005, 09:56:24 PM »
So my last exam is Friday & my brain has gone to mush.  I am drinking 4 red bulls a day & about 3 cups of coffee.  I had a 24 hour final 2 days ago, which I spent 24 hours on.  I have Civpro last- it was my best subject- I did practice exams 2 weeks ago & felt incredibly confident.  Now I feel like my brain has somehow lost all that information, and I cannot seem to get it back.  I am really stressed out for this exam, which was my best subject- and yes it is a dreaded closed book.

Current Law Students / How to spend dead week?
« on: November 27, 2005, 07:29:38 PM »
So I start dead week on Wednesday, I am up to date on outlines, and have taken only 1 practice exam per class so far.  I dont have a real good strategy yet.  I am dividing time spent per class based on credit unit.  I just expect to memorize my outlines, do practice exams, read supplements & practice w/ the crunch time series.  Am I on the right track?  I also intent to eat well, work out, and attempt to sleep.

Anyone else crazy like me to actually be aiming for Dec 1 job applications?

Current Law Students / Sum & Substance CDs
« on: October 03, 2005, 05:28:56 PM »
Has anyone used these?  I have heard they are good, but are they worth $70?  To clarify, I already have COs and E&Es for each class.  I am interested in a way to make my time at the gym and walks to school more productive.

I scheduled a informal interview at a competitive school I am wait listed at.  Here are my 3 objectives:

1) Identify my strengths and indicate my commitment to attend this school.
2) Communicate specific reasons I want to attend this school.  I have done some research and reasons include; small class sizes, curriculum, specific faculty, ect.
3) Ask questions.  It is a school that does not rank wait list applicants.  I would like information on when they anticipate openings, what I can do to better my chances, ect.

Any other suggestions?  Thanks!

Incoming 1Ls / Internet: DSL/ Cable/ Wireless/ Dial up?
« on: August 07, 2005, 02:11:37 PM »
Wondering what everyone is doing.  I have been hijacking the neighbor's high speed wireless, and not up to date on current trends.  I like the wireless, but it can be very finicky (maybe b/c it is not mine?)  Every once in awile I won't get any service for about 10-15 mins.  Which is no big deal now, but my time will be much more valueable as a 1L.

So who is your provider?  How much are you paying?  Are you satisfied?  I am leaning towards DSL.

Acceptances, Denials, and Waitlists / When will you stop Waiting?
« on: June 30, 2005, 07:23:48 PM »
This is a question I have not decided for myself.  As time goes on I am losing hope for my WL school, and beginning to attach emotionally more to my committed school.  I am also annoyed of getting asked every day by coworkers if I have heard anything yet, and when I will decide, ect. ect.  I am going on vacation Saturday, and return July 20.  I think at that time I will start moving (once I fiend a place), and once a lease is signed may be reluctant to come back.  Although I will try to find a month-to-month.  My schools are about 8 hours apart (driving).

Just wanted to know... has anyone set a date or occasion when you will stop waiting?  For example, is it when you move, pay tuition, or are you willing to drop everything once school has already started?

Incoming 1Ls / What will be your relationship status as a 1L?

Just curious...  I will be of the "live in relationship" variety.
