Studying and Exam Taking / how much do you study?

Just kinda curious...

How much per day do y'all study?

Studying and Exam Taking / Studying on a Saturday *sigh*
« on: October 22, 2005, 09:42:35 AM »
It's 9:45 on a Saturday morning and I am already starting my large pile of work...

*Sigh*  I have a very bad case of I'm-tired-of-law-school-itis (as my study group named it).

Anyone else tired of studying???

Did anyone see Joy Jones' article in the Washington Post this week about marriage in the Black community?

Its headline was "Marriage is for white people."   i was just curious to see if anyone else read it and what you thought of it.

For loans for living expenses, when does your school issue disbursement checks?

General board for soon-to-be 1Ls / Used laptops
« on: May 17, 2005, 05:21:38 PM »
It seems like everyone is talking about buying new laptops, but they're so expensive... Anyone tried eBay or manufacturer refurbished laptops?  Pros/cons?

I applied to Temple, and for various reasons (mostly family/personal) really would like to go there.  I applied right before their deadline, though, unfortunately -- I should have gotten my application together quicker but didn't.

I got a 169 on my LSAT and have a 3.95 UGPA (from a small, rather unknown liberal arts college).  But I'm worried about how late I applied.  If I applied on Feb. 28, do I even stand a chance at still being admitted to Temple?

And how long does it generally take temple to make decisions (either acceptances or rejections)?

Acceptances / accepted at ND?
« on: March 28, 2005, 12:33:08 PM »
Anyone else out there accepted at and considering attending Notre Dame?  I was accepted last week and was pretty shocked... I took the LSAT in February and was told I probably would be waitlisted everywhere "good" I applied to.

I've also been accepted to Case Western and the University of St. Thomas in MN (offered me a full ride, but they're not high up on my list).  I'm still waiting to hear from Ohio State, Temple and Penn.

I haven't visited ND yet, unfortunately.  Is anyone else planning on going to ND next year -- and what made you decide that?
