Has anyone been able to buy the supplement for Crump's Civ Pro class? I purchased the main text book from the bookstore located behind the law center, and picked up the syllabus along with The Story of a Civil Suit from the copy center; however, his assignments reference a supplement. Has anyone purchased this supplement? If so, where did you get it?

I've just started reading it, and what have I found a mere 17 pages into the book??? A typo! Yes, I may be a bit anal; but really, a grammatical error already... I mean, come on, this book has been on the market for a long time, couldn't they have fixed this by now?
Aside from the glaring typo on page 17, the book is really interesting. I'm about half way through it, and so far I'm really enjoying it. How about you???

Anyone have a good suggestion for women's tennis shoes? I'm in search of the perfect pair. Currently, I have a pair of new balance and they're killing my feet.

I'm not the most computer-savvy person, but I've heard that you can get a trio/blackberry/anyPDA and if it has blue tooth and your laptop has bluetooth you can automatically link them together??? Is this true?
Do I need a special kind of laptop or is this fairly common?
This is what I would like to do, but am not sure if it is possible, and if it is, I have no idea how to do it: Have my laptop (which I have not yet purchased) and a PDA (also haven't purchased). I want the laptop and PDA to link together (i.e., share address books, access same email account, share daily calendar, etc.) The PDA should have a cell phone built in and internet accessible.

Alright ya'll (gimme a break, I'm from Texas), my husband and I have decided to ban the Christmas-Tour-of-Families this year, and we're going skiing. Small catch, we've told all of the family and invited them. We don't know where we're going. All we know for sure is that we're doing it over the week of Christmas and probably in Colorado. Neither of us have ever been skiing in CO, we've only been to Norway. So we have 12 people- 6 adults, 2 kids ages 5-9, and 4 20 somethings- now what???

This thread is meant to be a discussion of the so-called 'BigLaw' Firms throughout the U.S.
Who works there now, and/or knows someone who works there now?
Which Firms do you like/dislike?
Why do you or don't you want to work there now or when you finish law school?
How do you plan on getting there?
Let the discussing begin...

I will be attending UHLC this August, and I've been doing a bit of research on the 1L life at UH. I thought it would be nice to have a discussion board specific to UH 1Ls and helpful information/links, etc. I have found the following websites to be very informative and specific to UH:www.members.aol.com/djmcarter/uhlc.htmlwww.uhoutlines.com

Does anyone have class outlines, or know how to get them, for any classes at UH from previous UH 1Ls?
