Just an FYI for anyone interested. My UH status checker just changed to "Decision Mailed" Good luck to all who applied.
I think this is worse than it just sitiing at complete. Now I know a decision was mailed on my application. So now I am waiting on letters from both UH and Georgetown...

Well, I just went through my Northwestern interview with one of their alumni in Denver. It went well. We went to lunch and talked for about an hour and a half. He spoke highly of the school and liked the questions I asked.
Just thought I would share.

Hi Guys. I want to get some advice here.
So far I have been accepted to Tulsa and Texas Tech. Tulsa gave me a 16k/year scholaship and Tech gave me in-state tuition. Do you all think that the schools are too far apart, with respect to the rankings, that I could not use the Tulsa offer to get any more money from Tech?
I think I would much rather attend Tech, but from either school, I need to watch the amount of debt I incur. Any opinions or thoughts would be much apreciated.

I would like to send in a DS to UT. Does anyone know if they require it to be sent via mail, or can I email it to them?
I would like to avoid calling the Committee as they say many times not to call.
Any help would be appreciated.

The earlier thread about the "why Duke" essay, prompted me to think about Texas. Since this is my top choice (reach) I was thinking about sending a letter to the dean expressing my deep interest in the program. If they had an ED option, I certainly would have chosen it. Thus, this is a two-part question: 1.) Do ya'll thank that this is appropriate; 2.) Would it even help in the slightest.
I know it is all conjecture but I would appreciate some opinions nonetheless.

So I was just thinking back to when I took the LSAT last February. The day or two before score release, my LSDAS Reports screen on LSAC showed that my reports were now complete and that they were about to be sent to the law schools. And those that already had a valid score, a new line appeared under each of their previous reports, signifying a "score" update report was about to be sent.
I know this is rather anxiety inducing, but I thought I would share. This is what I am looking for first.

Here it is Monday: the week of the LSAT. I have been feeling great for the last six months. What happens? I am now starting to get sick. I feel bronchitis coming on, and I feel like *&^%. I am going to the doctor today and am going to try to get them to give me an anti-viral to knock this out prior to Saturday.
The problem is that I cannot postpone because I need this score for EA at UT.
Anyway, just wanted to vent.
