I figure this might give all the wl people some (false???) hope of where some places might be opening up.  What schools did you put down a 1st deposit but will definitely or probably not be putting down a 2nd deposit?

do you ultimately receive a rejection or some sort of no places left type thing for waitlist spots or do you just never hear back?

Choosing the Right Law School / "If accepted, will you attend?"

anybody on a wl get this type of email?  is it a good sign or do they send them to everybody on the wl?

LSN has almost no activity lately and still no rejections at all.

Anybody know when they're going to get decisions out?  Also, do they send an email/phone call or is it just via postal mail?

If you call and ask for your app status, has anyone been told yes or know or just "we'll be mailing then soon?"

What's the quickest you heard back from a school?  Anybody hear back in less than 2 weeks?

Just curious!

Choosing the Right Law School / Evaluate my chances!!

Well I got my LSAT back.  159.  Was hoping to break 160 but not terrible.  I have a 3.85 UGPA, decent PS, 1 good LOR, 1 average LOR, a little work experience in finance (I want to do corporate or securities law), and 3 UG degrees (finance, international business, history.)

I want to practice law in St. Louis and (unless you're going to a T14) it is pretty important to attend an STL school around here.

I have applied to WUSTL as my first choice but I'm a little low on their LSAT box.  I am currently there as an UG, does that help my chances?  I have also applied to SLU.

Any ideas on my chances?  Was applying to just 2 schools totally stupid??  I figure I can work for a year if I get rejected both places.  Should I put in some late apps a few other places, do you think?

I'm voting for tomorrow.  Crossing my fingers that I'm right!  Anybody else want to make a prediction?
