And if not, and you are applying there as well could you PLEASE tell me why I admitted my app in Nov. and have not heard Jack? Thanks.

So I figure this will only work if we all do it simultaneously.  Ill wait to reject my waitlist position until we all agree aight?  The only reason waitlist continue to bog us down is because we send our cards back, wait by the telephone, mancially check our emails exc.  If we all refused to be told that we are at THEIR beck and call then they would have to make some final decisions right now---Yeah thats what Im talking about---knowing now, not August 20th.  Am I dreaming--will you join me? ???

Hi, thanks again to you all for your input on many subjects, it helps being able to make some tough decisions.
I am waiting on two more schools; U of San Diego and U of Arizona.  On neither one has any listings of people recieviing rejections--do you think this is a skewed sample or that these schools dont send out their rejections until all acceptances are in? Thanks again for the insight.  Cheers. ::)

Hi all you fellow waitlistees, probabally too experiencing the slow and anguishing pain, not quite as sharp as the dings, but after the long haul maybe more so.   :P

Do any of you know how I can find out if a school (UC Davis in this case) is known for making use of their waitlist in the past, to decide if this is worth a shot of waiting or better to look for other pastures?  Thanks and best of luck to you all. 8)

Basically, thats it, have you heard from U of Arizona?  Do they not send their reject letters until all accepts are in?  Best of luck to y'all.

Incoming 1Ls / whats protocol for declining acceptance?
« on: February 29, 2004, 09:52:56 PM »
Hi everyone, Its nice to read a lot of acceptances that seem to appear on this board.  Does anyone know what should be done if you know for sure that you don't want to attend a school that has accepted you?  I was planning on not sending my deposit, according to my acceptance letters that seems like the next step, but from reading this board it seems like declining now will lead to possible acceptance letters for others sooner, I know how the waiting is, as the schools of my choice still have my app in their perepheal.  Thanks.

I was wondering if anyone knows how to go about the next step, after the mad rush of applying to schools based on my numbers, and now dealing with acceptance letters, hold notices and deferred notices.  That next step being which school to attend.  I am interested in water law and have been accepted to USF, Lewis and Clark, ASU and am waiting on USD, UC Davis, U of Arizona and U of Minnesota--- but how do I choose? More impoortantly, how do I find out what these schools offer in natural law programs? While their internet sites provide some information I dont find enough to make solid comparisons.  Thanks to any of you that might have suggestions.  Cheers.

Law School Admissions / LSADS GPA vs. school granting GPA?
« on: January 23, 2004, 10:54:55 PM »
I was wondering if anyone knows where to find one's LSADS GPA.  In they ask for the LSADS GPA which is different for many people than their school granting GPA.  I dont seem to find a difference in my LSADS report for my GPA.  Thanks.
