My exboyfriend (who is a college professor) posted graphic sexual details of our relationship on a message board. He also said some horrible things about me. We have been broken up for 6 years and have been very close friends ever since. he is the last person i ever though would hurt me. i feel betrayed and disgusted. i confronted him and he said the reason for doing this is b/c he has resentment towards me for leaving him SIX YEARS AGO!!! i told him he is a freak and needs to get over it. on this message board he also posted details of how he wants a BJ from a 17 yr. old student of his. i need to fix his ass!! i figured most people on here are intelligent and creative, so help me out!

i had all my sh*t packed on saturday and was moving from NY to MA. i arrived in MA, signed my lease and got my keys. when i entered the apt., it was NOTHING like the apartment they had showed me when i been there previously. it was a DUMP. i was shown a beautiful apt. and i was given a HOLE. i complained to the office manager who offered me a different apartment. that apt., however would not be available to 9/9. i complained profusely that her employee promised me a remodeled apartment and i was given a slum. at the last minute i contacted the housing office at the LS and fortunately, they had ONE space left  in student housing. i called the office manager and threatened to sue them for misrepresentation. they let me out of the lease. i bought $4000.00 worth of furniture and everything i would need to furnish an apt. now i dont need any of it. i cant believe this has happened a week before classes. has anyone else had a housing emergencv?

i was thrilled to be leaving for LS until a few days ago. im getting extremely nervous. i left a job that was very well paying and rewarding. the job, however, didnt have much room for advancement. i have always wanted to go to LS, but this whole transition from work to student is very difficult. is anyone else feeling this way? good luck to you all.

General board for soon-to-be 1Ls / Private Loans ABOVE the COA...anyone try to get one?

i have applied to 2 banks for a "maximizer loan"( a loan that does NOT need the school's certification and can exceed the COA) and have been denied. i have very good credit, so i dont understand why im being declined. im going to try with a co-signer. has anyone out there tried to apply for one of these loans? anyone have any advice?

Where should I go next fall? / Syracuse Anyone?

Per Lawschoolnumbers.com there hasnt been any movement regarding Syracuse since April 8th. Has anyone else heard from them recently? i cant believe it taking this long!!!this is the last school im waiting for and its my first choice.
