Current Law Students / Joe goes to Cooley
« on: January 26, 2005, 06:10:55 PM »
You said you attend Cooley. HAHAHAHAH!

And to think I actually responded to posts by someone who goes to the worst TTT in the country!

I will no longer deal with you. Cooley students are far too stupid to warrant conversing with. They are the untouchables of the law school caste system.

Good luck in life, Joe. Hopefully you'll be one of the lucky 56% who passes the bar (statistic from The Jurist, Jan. 2005).

Have fun at the worst TTT ever.

Current Law Students / TO HURLEY

You're the biggest feminine hygiene product on this site. Why are you over here starting threads about me?Oh, that's right- it's because you're a f-ing loser.

Tell everyone the story about how you BOMBED the LSAT and couldn't get into law school. Tell them about how you gave up your "dream" because the LSAT proved how much of a worthless @#!* you are. Tell everyone how bad your life is, so that they can truly appreciate the context of failure from which your posts arise.

Just what are you doing now, Hurley? Burger King? Wendy's? Maybe even Taco Bell?

You're a piece of *&^%, and you're not in my league.

I don't know what it is about you f-ing losers that prevents you from leaving me alone. You are all worthless if you get off on making threads about me, making new screennames to attack me and posting about me everywhere.

Those are really the only ways to describe your behavior. Get over me, because I don't give a @#!* about any of you.

All of you are subpar, mediocre individuals who attend TTTs and are probably at the median of the curve, tops. You are all disgraces to yourselves and your trailer park families. I know that talking about me must make you feel better about your dismal employment prospects, late rent and crappy grades. Every time you mention me, I pwn you even harder- I control your thoughts and actions without even lifting a finger.

Finally, since I am so intellectually above you fucks that you are unable to articulate even halfway respectable responses to anything I say, you resort to telling me I don't attend law school (Joe is the most recent offender, as I demolished him with my rhetoric and arguments so he resorted to a lame one-liner).

Let's examine ths claim, that I am not a law student. First, it is not true. I attend a better school than you stupid f-ing losers, and I get better grades than you do.

Second, even in your idiot universe where DOWNY is in fact not a law student, this occurrence would merely magnify my pwnership of you. Let's say I'm in high school- this would mean a high school kid is humiliating and mentally defeating law students. You are a sorry bunch of losers.

Have fun pretending I'm not in law school. While you're at it, pretend you'll get a job with your TTT degree. Pretend you don't attend a TTT. Pretend you aren't mediocre. Just close your eyes and dream up a new life.

Have fun with that, retards.

Did DOWNY scare JeffJoe away? Read the "JJ at NSL" thread- Joe says he is leaving forever. We can only blame DOWNY for this tragedy.

Current Law Students / Question about NSL

All of my questions about NSL have been answered, thanks everyone

Current Law Students / NSL: Chronicles of a TTT
« on: January 14, 2005, 12:06:59 PM »
According to NSL's website, the admissions index is computed by multiplying an applicant’s LSAT score by 80% and adding it to the GPA x 10. The target index number for admission is 140.

Let's do a hypothetical to asses the likely quality of the student body.

Person A has an LSAT score of 140 and a GPA of 3.0.

LSAT 140(80%) = 112
GPA   3.0(10) =  30
INDEX  =  142

As you can see, the candidate with a 140 LSAT score and a 3.0 is actually two points ABOVE the admissions index for NSL. This means that if the GPA were slightly higher, the LSAT could be even lower than a 140.

In contrast, Cooley requires that an applicant have an LSAT of at least 143.

Therefore, it is actually much harder to get into Cooley than NSL, because Cooley has a cutoff at 143 for LSAT scores. At NSL, if a candidate had a 4.0, he/should could be admitted with a 125 LSAT:

LSAT 125(80%) = 100
GPA   4.0(10) =  40
INDEX   = 140

Hence, NSL may well be admitting people with LSATs as low as 125, which is a FULL 18 POINTS BELOW COOLEY'S MINIMUM LSAT REQUIREMENT. A 125 LSAT means the candidate marked about 5 questions correctly. Marking "A" for every answer without opening the test book would yield a higher score.

Finally, Cooley is ABA accredited, and NSL is not.

Sorry NSL people, but I had to do it. You were acting like cocky dipshits, and the numbers don't lie.

HTH and pwn3d!

So who is going to fail out after the first semester? How did everyone's exams go? Will you be back at law school in the Spring, or are you getting a head start on that Burger King job? DOWNY wants to know.

Online Law Schools / 'Distance Learning' = TTT trickery
« on: November 17, 2004, 07:40:19 PM »
That's right, 'distance learning' is nothing more than a TTT trick to steal your money. Don't fall for these TTTs in disguise- if it's not ABA accredited it is a pile of *&^% and there's no way around that. If it is an "online" or "distance" education, you might as well save the money and just watch Judge Judy all day.

Current Law Students / what's up fuckers
« on: November 17, 2004, 07:37:53 PM »
What's up f_ckers,
So, who's going to fail their exams this semester? Who will be at the top of the class, and who will fail miserably? Who will be the biggest failure in life? This is the thread to discuss it all.

PS: If you go to Cooley you have already failed.

Current Law Students / Which is more third tier toilet, Cooley or Iraq?
« on: November 13, 2004, 02:54:35 AM »
Which is worse- Cooley or Iraq? They're both festering TTTs in decline, but which one is the worst? Iraq has a vicious insurgency, regular bombings, enduring warfare, no governmental stability and third tier toilet economic and social conditions.

On the other hand, Cooley has a 30% bar passge rate, one of the highest attrition rates in the nation, a 145 average LSAT and a crappy name.

So which is more T.T.T.? Iraq or Cooley?
