Where should I go next fall? / Western State University (CA)
« on: January 28, 2008, 11:06:20 PM »
Any thoughts on this school? I've been offered a generous scholarship am definitely considering this school (although still waiting to hear from others). I know they have had provisional accreditation since 2005 and therein lies my hesitation. At this point, I'm just excited to have been accepted to law school but I want to be sure I don't make a mistake. I'd love to hear from anyone who is currently attending or considering doing so.

LSAC and LSDAS / Fee Waivers
« on: March 09, 2006, 06:34:14 PM »
Are we allowed to get fee waivers ONLY for apps. through LSDAS? I ask because I've already taken the LSAT (fee waived) but I want to apply for a fee waiver for 2006-2007 so I can get my apps. BTW, I did not receive my LSAT fee waiver via the form; it was through a prelaw program I completed.

So, does LSAC/LSDAS allow this? I haven't seen anything on the website that says it does.

Hi,

There was a link to a page that lists that the law schools that accept the higher score when one has taken the LSAT more than once. Can someone repost the link? I'd appreciate it...

Studying for the LSAT / LSAT Writing Sample
« on: November 29, 2005, 06:26:44 PM »
So, effective June '06, the LSAT writing sample is going to be scored. What does this mean for the LSAT as a whole? I ask because I am registered for the Feb. LSAT, but I'm wondering what role a scored writing sample will play in my LSAT score.

Studying for the LSAT / Study schedule for the Feb. LSAT
« on: September 28, 2005, 09:47:37 PM »
I'm afraid I'll slack off between now and Feb., so what's a good study schedule to have? Starting next week, I was thinking of concentrating for two weeks on a different subj., taking a timed section at the end of the two weeks, start timed tests in Nov., taking a break around the Christmas holidays and gearing back up after New Year's with timed tests (two a week) throughout Jan. Will I have exhausted all of the tests by then?

Anyone know how to stop it from completely beeping? I've fixed mine so that it only emits a low "beep," but I don't want to take any chances.

Studying for the LSAT / Oct. or Dec. LSAT?
« on: September 09, 2005, 02:03:44 AM »
Is it better to go straight from the TM course to the LSAT or postpone until Dec.? I'm contemplating Oct. only because I will have finished TM and everything will still be fresh in my mind. On the other hand, Dec. sounds tempting because it will give me more time to study. Although if I take the Dec. LSAT I won't apply to LS until Fall '06 for Fall '07. I would like to go to LS next year, but am not going to rush it because I want to do it right. Oh well. I have my third TM diag. this Sunday so I'll have a better idea after that.

Decisions, decisions...

I've got nothing- no class materials; I don't even know where the class is going to be held.
