Alright. Are you going to Baylor? Spring, Summer, Fall, doesn't matter. Come here to discuss how we will entertain ourselves in Waco in between trying to keep our heads above water at the "Marine Corps Boot Camp" of law schools.
I just emailed UT saying that I would be declining their acceptance for the fall. They emailed me back saying "Thank you for withdrawing your application" That's not what I said. If they say I w/drew my app does that help their yield numbers in some way for rankings?

The subject pretty much says it. I know some of us have talked about this elsewhere, but I'd just like to get a feel for where people are. This is NOT a thread for people to get feisty about rankings or whatever.

I was just at the Supreme Court of TX Website and the list of law schools the justices went to was:
University of Texas
University of South Carolina
University of Chicago
Anyways I just thought this was something to chew on for everybody that argues about prestige v. money v. whatever. I think we could all agree that the entire spectrum is represented here.
I just heard something really funny at work I thought I would share... Apparently because of the large number of scholarships Baylor doles out and the requirement that you stay in the top %50 it's pretty much impossible for everyone to keep said scholarship. Therefore, at Baylor, the scholarships offered with admission are fondly called the Becky Beck Bait and Switch.
