I am on it, and I want to be in at the school. I am partially excited for the waitlist, partially dissapointed, and partially curious if anyone knows about how much people get off of it??!?

I've been hearing rumors that Cardozo is extremely competitive, and I was wondering if anyone else has any experience/information they could share with me on that topic.
The reason I'm asking is that I received a scholarship contingent on upkeeping a 3.3 GPA, and I'm trying to gauge how hard it's going to be for me to do that. (does anyone know what teh average gpa in law school even is? i'm curious)
Thanks in advance!
So, I'm sure a lot of you have seen this, it's really funny and making rounds on the internet, but I just discovered today as I was listening to it that he's signing in Romanian, (I am romanian). I think that's awesome, and wanted to share the funny video to everyone who hasn't seen it. Romanian pop songs are cool )
Not a waitlist, since they said that they would hold me until they further review their applicant pool and decide to place me on a waitlist or not.
They also strongly suggested having an interview, on campus or if not in the area, on the phone.
I wonder if this is because I applied late in the game, using their fee waiver, and now they want to see if I really am interested, (I'm not).
This makes me really worried about my chances at NYU and Columbia, the two places I really really REALLY want to go to.
Just got the phone call from my mom in California telling me they sent the packet there (I wrote it down as my permanent address)... I'm so confused about where I want to go and what I want to do right now. I really like the idea of no debt! But I like the idea of highly reputable and well connected schools (like USC).... I have a big headache

I'm looking for some advice on whether I should send a letter of interst to Columbia and NYU (my top two choices), telling them I love and yadidada. I'm not really sure what to say and I don't even know whether its too late. I've read of some people on this board doing this, and I was wondering what kind of advice you guys have and any ideas about what I should write in it.
Where should I go next fall? / I wonder if schools check the number of times we log into the status checker?« on: February 18, 2005, 09:16:02 PM »
Hm.... wouldnt it be weird if they kept track and made a note of it on our applications? I wonder what numbers would be cut offs for interested and crazy?
