Where should I go next fall? / Would you choose a cheaper school, or the higher rank?

Is it better to go to a school that is top 20, and almost free. Or would you choose a T14 school that will lead to $100,000 debt?
I got into Minnesota with instate tuition, and a 12k merit scholorship. Leaving tuition at around 4k a year. I havnt heard back from any of the the T14 schools i applied to (georgetown, michigan, uva, northwestern, columbia) but i think its realistic to think i will get into one, maybe two of them (or maybe not). Any of these T14 schools will cost 30k yr in tuition.
assuming similiar living costs the difference will be about 80k over three years.
If this delimna occurs would you choose the cheaper school, or the higher ranked school?
