this is the support/collaboration/brainstorm/Q&A thread for people writing, or toying with the idea of writing, the extra essays with which you're "rewarded" upon acceptance if you want to shoot for merit aid or even a full ride in some cases.

did you guys seriously have a question about fish and dioxin? i noticed in so many old tests that there were RC passages and a lot of logic questions about hormones in milk and eggs, toxins in lobsters, viruses in cows, etc. it was a consistent theme! how funy. think the lsat writers are all hardcore vegans spreading the gospel?

for people with a handful of acceptances, are you starting to pay attention to different factors now (the ones about which you said, "i'll think about that once i get in!")
my table before was concerned with dates and deadlines, avg lsats, etc. i think i need a new chart with CofL, grading policies, class size, s/f ratio, avg debt, things like that. anyone else making one of these? what did you include? 6
i haven't heard anything, but 7 deferrals and counting says LSN, including a pair of 169s and a 168.

here's what i have, but feel free to correct--
BC 12/17 UVA 12/19 Penn 12/31, though elsewhere they said mid-dec. NYU mid-to-late dec. (per their email) cornell mid-to-late dec gulc said 12/10, though they obviously got a jumpstart likewise duke said by 12/31
